I'm looking for a book rec….forgive the description coming, I wasn't sure how best to describe it. I keep seeing clips from tiktok of dramas where this happens and I want to read it ha ha
Basically the MMC has a friend, employee who comes between the MMC and the FMC…but he doesn't see it. The other person may go out of their way to make the FMC look bad to theC and he believes her.
Like she calls and he goes running leaving the FMC to get home alone, or deal with something. The MMC seems to prioritize the "other woman" but there's no cheating. He doesn't see the other person as anything other than what they are.
The FMC plans to leave, or does, and realizes what he has lost …lots of grovelling and realizing what the other person has actually done.
