Hi all, I need a break from the standard stories of where the happy conclusion is a female protagonist ending up in a hetero relationship. It's a common sub-plot even in non-romance novels.
Please suggest some books which specifically emphasise that a female protagonist leaves/avoids an unhealthy relationship and THAT is her happy ending. Bonus points if she directly gets to do something great because she left- goes on a quest, saves the world, learns some amazing skill, advances in her career, eats healthy, adopts 6 cats, etc
