Looking for anything that has a strong male protagonist lead, little romance, and no POV switches. I like books that focus more on the protagonist as a character and their development and thoughts, and do I love corruption arcs of any sort, but that’s not a requirement. Crime and Punishment comes to mind as a good example. Fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, psychological, cozy, etc, most any genre is fine, but I don’t like romance unless it’s directly for the plot or protag development. I don’t like reading novels where I know more about the side characters than the main—I want the protagonist to be the most well written, complex character of the book. Thank you!
