I’m please looking for romantic book recommendations that are either actually Chinese or available in Chinese print. Asking for recommendations because Romance and Romantic-Comedy genres are saturated and full of garbage. I’m sure there are some good ones though! Criteria, please:
- For a mature, educated female. The writing doesn’t need to be great literature, in fact I do not want it to be too heavy or dense (simple writing is fine), but the writing cannot be so bad that an educated person can’t tolerate it. Basically, correct, passable, writing composition.
- Enough spice to make it interesting and ignite the imagination, but not vulgar or sex-obsessed. Like some sexy/steamy content but ultimately wholesome.
- Not too serious. Positive, uplifting, light, fun, and engaging.
- A proven author. Not everyone is going to like every book, but looking for proven titles. Could be a classic.
