You know, books that totally knock you out when you finish them? I am talking about books where you can't guess the story at all, page turners, edge-of-the-seat thrillers/ mysteries, etc.
I have read some books lately that made me feel like they were a bit too cliché, Dont wanna feel like this book was written hoping that it will be adapted into a movie or a show.

Crime and Punishment
It’s been made into a movie at least twice but I was totally blown away by True Grit.
I haven’t seen the movie(s) so that’s the impact was higher for me.
