Hi, all! What classics can you recommend a person to read after *War and Peace*, if they are looking for more classic books that explore flawed human nature within the choices we make; our relationships with others, and finding our lives’ purpose?
I’m a 23M on a gap year between multiple “paths”, of moving to another country for school versus staying home and working, so a classic that really makes you think about life would be excellent.
Really loved:
\ War and Peace*
\ Something Wicked this Way Comes*
\ The Stranger*
\ East of Eden*
\ The Death of Ivan Ilyich*
\ Anna Karenina*
\ ‘Salem’s Lot* (lol)
As a note, I have read but didn’t quite enjoy Notes from the Underground, but would love to give Fyodor another try.
Thanks all 🙂
