I absolutely adored Lessons in Chemistry. Elizabeth reminds me so much of myself, and I loved the dry and matter-of-fact humor. I laughed about as much as I cried. It seems the author doesn’t have any other novels, though.

So, any suggestions for what I could read next?

I’m very open as far as genre goes. I’ll read anything – middle grades, YA, thrillers, romance, Star Wars. I’ve enjoyed Emily Henry lately, particularly Book Lovers. Before that was Great Big Beautiful Life, and before that was a reread of The Giver quartet and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series.

I have a large TBR pile, but I am always willing to make it bigger. For the right book, anyway.

I read Lessons in Chemistry two years ago. It became my favorite book and i’m still looking for something similar and chasing that high. Not quite the same but here are the books i’ve also really enjoyed:

      Gentleman in Moscow
      11/22/63
      James

While not inherently similar, these books share similar characteristics with LIC which make me love a book so you might also enjoy.
