im so tired of insta love/lust dark romance books that aren’t even well written. i feel like no one wants to write spine-tingling tension and chemistry anymore, it’s all just bland ships and repetitive spice (which i guess is expected for dark romance books, but where’s the romance aspect!!). please i **needdddd** something that’s actually well executed and slow burn.
i’m totally open to anything (even ao3 or unofficially published works) except those that involve rh, ow drama, and of course anything insta love/lusty…
here are some of my favorite books that i’d say were really well written:
• **any of trisha wolfe’s book** — i loooove her atmospheric writing!! and she writes the most intriguing characters ever
• **singed series by mia knight** — probably the best contemp dark romance i’ve ever read, mia knight makes toxic relationships look so damn good
• **ominous 1 & 2 by k.v. rose** — once again… insanely addictive writing and toxicity done right!
• **the wolf’s den anthology by kate winborne** — this author is *criminally* underrated!! incredible writing style, plot line, characters, etc. honestly, i’m so surprised that these books aren’t talked about more
