3 days ago, I've picked up The hunger games and binged through the whole trilogy and now I'm craving for something similar. Not planning to read the rest of the hunger games because I don't really care about Snow.
I like romance, if it's done right. Not some cringey characters growling each other every 5 minutes. I'm looking for a book that has an amazing main story with little bit of romance. Would love it if the main love interest isn't really overt, making me side with one character and root for them.

Almost every Urban fantasy series in existence meets your criteria. Just search for best of Urban fantasy, and level of cringe is relative.
