In the mood for something about women just kind of existing without too much action.
Some of my faves already are
The Wall
Claiming Ground
The Bean Trees
If you lived here, I’d know your name
My year of rest and relaxation
The history of wolves
The witches heart
Any recs are super appreciated as this has been a tough niche to try and look up for some reason.
Or even if someone has a name to put to these types of books.
Thank you!!!

I Who Have Never Known Men -Jacqueline Harpman
Wittgenstein’s Misstress
Albeit, it’s kinda out there as experimental fiction.
Tom Lake by Ann Patchett
Britt-Marie Was Here
Pond by Claire-Louise Bennett is on my to-read list and might fit the bill.
The Seas by Samantha Hunt!! there’s a tiny bit of action towards the end but the whole book has this moody, solitary vibe
Circe by Madeline (?) Miller is about a woman just kind of existing for a very long time lol one of my favorites!
I also liked Weyward.
