Hey, I need your help… I’m looking for a book (standalone or series) with the same vibe as Jupiter Ascending (the movie with Mila Kunis & Channing Tatum).
If you’ve seen it, you probably know exactly the dynamic I mean. If not, here’s the kind of story I’m looking for:
• A normal / lower-status woman who suddenly gets pulled into a powerful intergalactic / fantasy / shifter world
• She doesn’t know anything about this universe at first — we learn with her
• A protective, intense, slightly feral male lead
• He has no one, doesn’t really belong anywhere, and then realizes she’s it for him
• Strong “found his mate” / destiny vibes
• Touch-her-and-die energy
• An engaging plot beyond just romance — something happening in the story that keeps it interesting
Most importantly:
I want more romance focus than the movie had — more chemistry, more emotional development, and if possible, more banter.
