Hello! I recently finished reading The Great Game by Peter Hopkirk and currently reading The Return of a King by William Darlymple.
I am looking for book recommendations about the Great Game, particularly travel memoirs and/or detailed historical accounts of that period covering central asia.
While The Great Game gave me a great starting point, The Return of a King is giving me in depth knowledge of Afghanistan during the early part of this period. Would appreciate recommendations which would can give me an insight on particular regions in greater detail.
