Can someone recommend me a fantasy book where the MMC has an important role in the system like a commander/best fighter/ royal mage/ etc and the female character is clever.

I realised that this is the genre of MMC I like. He may be morally grey, cold but he's dutiful, authoritative and logical. Please just recommend your favourite. I get overwhelmed with too many requests🙏

It has to have onePOV and it should be from the females prospective. I want tension, banter, word building and plot. I also want a happy ending.

Mmc I liked are Arin from jasad heir and maybe Sel from legendhorn.
