Hey guys! So this might seem a bit overdramatic, but I'm really looking for some gay love stories without the necessary happy narrative. I don't want tragic death or illness or anything, the vibe I'm going for is more Adam Silvera-esque, or I've just finished the Us duet by Alex Cross, which took on some really heavy topics and I loved every minute of it (maybe not so much the long, detailed smut parts). I've had enough of butterflies and happiness and rainbows, I want some realness, I want the characters to deal with issues and even if they end up together (even again) at the end, I want to see struggle and a journey to getting there. Anyone got any suggestions? (The less detailed sex scenes the better lol)
