Hard time reading books

I always want to read books with true stories or fictional ones, but I always find it difficult to read and understand some hard English terms. Since English is not my native language, I find myself spending a long time translating the meanings of these difficult terms, and I don’t enjoy reading the book.

Are there any good and enjoyable book recommendations that don’t contain difficult or complicated terms?
