this post is not contain spoilers all of this information is pretty much available from page one. or maybe the back of the book I don't know this is an audiobook. okay so this story follows a man's Journey after basically the end of the world it's supposed to apocalypse story and he flies around in his little Cessna. how the hell has he managed to refuel this thing for so long? I got my pilot's license flying around in Cessnas and those things need constant maintenance and work, and they constantly need refueling. it seems like just a massive plot hole that this guy is flying around in a Cessna after the Apocalypse For What appears to be a very long time and he never runs out of fuel? where is the fuel coming from who is delivering it how is it being refined or pumped or any of that?
I would also love to hear other people's takes on glaring potholes that you can't ignore in stories.
Edit: I also forgot to mention that fuel has an expiration date and cannot last a very long time without the potential to cause serious damage to your engine. This is why I say during covid when fuel was super cheap it would have been on wise to stockpile hundreds of gallons of it or something if you couldn't use it up within a year or two
