I’m not American. Watching what’s going on in America is kinda horrifying to me. I find Trump and the way he talks to be so vile and self absorbed and the way he treats certain groups of people to be terrifying.
Sometimes I’ll get into a discussion with someone (mainly at work, where I’m far below the average age) and they’ll say something like “yeah he’s a bit crazy but he’s done a lot of good for America/the American economy.” This isn’t limited to the Facebook addicted warehouse workers I’m with every night.. one of my friends from highschool, one of the smartest girls I know has said the same thing and I consider her much smarter than I am.
I’d like to read something reliable that gives a genuine look into how these people see trump and the “good” they think he has done for the country.
Edit: I don’t know why I’m being downvoted, I’m not looking for some kind of redeeming value to convince myself he’s any good at all, I’d just like a better foothold when I get into these conversations with people so I can engage with what they’re saying and dispute/understand if instead of taking their word for it because I simply don’t know what they’re trying to refer to.
