So this is slightly unhinged, but my ADHD is making me hyperfixate and I need help lol.
I'm looking for books that really focus on the way people live, fix meals, etc? That's a weird, nebulous description, BUT.
If you've read the original Boxcar Children books, I mean EXACTLY LIKE THAT. Like, they'd go stay on a houseboat, in a lighthouse, go on a long bike trip, whatever, and there'd be a glorious amount of description about them packing, preparing, setting up, living situations… It was the coziest.
Any genre is fine. I've seen this pop up in some non-fiction books too.

– **[But Not Too Bold](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/211004133-but-not-too-bold)** I thought it was cozy but that is more to do with the amazing writing than the content. But it is slightly unhinged, lots of detail of preparing and ritual and setting up a living situation. It really focuses on the day to day.
Though if you can let me know what you think I recommend this alot because it is simple, sweet and I love it and the author is about to bring out another book in 3 weeks.
