I have no idea if such a book exists, but I'd love a novel that gives a similar experience to season 1 of true detective but instead of just the big bad being some southerners, it's actually a monster.
Like True Detective meets Until Dawn (game). Or Firewatch (game) meets The Ritual (movie).
And no vampires.
