Im trying to find a book series, that i know i enjoyed reading, but can only partially remember.
Of what i remember, male protagonist, the culture of his country had something to do with revering fire. And, that secret messages were woven into some kind of clothing (the same clothing could regularly have other meanings like, certain patterns signified a family).
I dont remember if magic played a big or little part, or at all.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
