Hey all, I am looking for some self help books to become a more fun individual to be around. I have always been a serious person and I feel like I have all this stress on myself that I cannot relax and just have fun and enjoy the moment.
i’m already in therapy but I am hoping that some books can help me put.

Self help books are not a good path to follow.
If you want to live in the moment.

I really enjoyed –
Hello, Higher Self by: Bunny Michael.
She ends each chapter with affirmations and journal prompts.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck
I don’t have any self-books, but if you want to be more fun and less serious, you might consider some fiction/nonfiction that’s more fun and less serious. Here are some books that I felt like were fun to read recently:
You’ll Grow Out of It by Jessi Klein,
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros,
All Systems Red by Martha Wells,
The Midnight Feast by Lucy Foley,
Bride by Ali Hazelwood,
The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies by Alison Goodman,
Nicked by MT Anderson
These were funny or adventurous or sexy or exciting, and all captured my attention enough to really focus without worry what else was going on.
