So, I'm an illustrator and animator. I'm trying to not fall into the pinterest rabbit hole so often, and would like physical art books to look at for reference and inspiration. I'd also love to have the background for some of this stuff. I'm looking for 1900's (particularly 1950-60s) fashion, pulp, and advertisement illustration. Stuff like leyendecker, Gibson, Bob Peak, Al Parker, ect. (these are the names I see most often) Not the more abstract stuff. Stuff with good faces and figures. Any good art book suggestions? OH! and lots of pictures!
