I read Plato the republic, Allegory of the Cave, Dialogues of Socrates, and The last days of Socrates.
I read Beyond Good and Evil by Friedrich Nietzsche
The Philosphy of Aristotle by Renford Bambrough
    Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

these are the only books ive read, very very beginner.

I honestly didnt know where to start, so I began with Plato, and I loved it. I read Friedrich Nietzsche Beyond Good and Evil, I loved it even more. Aristotle felt like a gulp to read (i felt like an idiot and took quite long to finish metaphysics so i might have to reread it again) and the last book i read was Meditations. there was nothing wrong with that book, but out of all of the books I read, I disagreed with his views the most. (maybe my opinion is bad because I understood it wrong? or im just abit stupid so i might reread it again) but now im currently reading The Republic of Plato, but a diffrent version, it is by Allen Bloom. (until i find another philosphy book to read)

im not sure if I should go and continue reading all of Friedrich Nietzsche books, or diverse myself with different philosophers and branch out, before going in depth with all their books.

    does anyone have any recommendations?

I honestly am going into philosphy to explore perspectives on life itself, death, opinions about the concepts of religion, and the concepts of society.

I honestly have alot of feels and 'takes' about society itself, and social interactions which spin the wheel of society to fit in a giant box. I have alot of opinions about all of this, and the concept of religion too, and I was going crazy feeling this way until I read people who actually question it too, and now I am eager to learn more about other philosophers opinions.

honestly mate you’ve got a solid foundation going there 🔥 since you loved nietzsche i’d say grab “the gay science” or “thus spoke zarathustra” next, but also throw in some camus (“the stranger” or “the myth of sisyphus”) and maybe sartre if you want existentialist vibes about society and religion. sounds like you’d dig the whole questioning everything approach they take 😂
