Suggest me a good Y/A novel that’s not hard to read

Yes, I understand that "good" and "not hard to read" are subjective qualities.

I'm not good at reading because I'm so brain-fried that I can barely commit to start, let alone finish, books. It's like someone infected with rabies trying to drink a glass of water; it's concerning. I'd just like a Y/A novel whose prose I don't have to strain myself to understand (I'm an adult by the way). The genres I'm not really interested in that come to mind are romance and western; everything else is fine.
