My partner (33M) works at a job where he can listen to podcasts all day. But in the 10 years I’ve known him he almost never reads anything, so I would love if someone could help me find an audiobook for him that he might enjoy.

He likes Marvel, both the comics and the cinematic universe. The podcasts he listens to are a US history podcast and an advice podcast, both hosted by comedians so they are definitely funny and educational. He also listens to the NYT podcasts The Daily and Hard Fork, and likes to be informed about current affairs. He has a lot of knowledge about movies from the 90s-2000s, definitely very plugged into that culture when he was growing up. We are also recently new parents to an almost 6 month old baby boy and he has a lot of big feelings about that so stuff with those themes could be good as well.

I know that’s kind of a lot but i just really want to find something that he might like. Any suggestions are welcome 🙂

He might like Creativity INC by Ed Catmull, it’s about how pixar was founded/shenanigans involved but also gives advice on how allowing people certain freedoms results in better work and happiness in the workplace.

    2. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir it is funny good and likable it also about to come out as a movie, Born Standing Up: A Comic’s Life by Steve Martin this what i got my friend when he was depressed and he said it helped, *The Murderbot Diaries* (Book 1: *All Systems Red*) by Martha Wells this my comfort book i have listen to it 78 times according to audible data, Redshirts by John Scalziand fianly *Starter Villain* by John Scalzi

    3. He should check out The Murderbot Diaries. Its a sci-fi series told from the perspective of a cyborg, and its actually quite funny. I rlly enjoyed the audiobooks of this one

    4. Sandman audiobooks are well done and and partially take place in Arkham and mention the Justice League etc
