Hi!
I have an itch to read something specific. These are the two books I'm looking for right now.
Book 1
- I want to read a steampunk fantasy that maybe also has a pantheon of gods in it.
Book 2
- I want to read a treasure hunt, maybe in the early industrial era or a similarly set fantasy world.
Things I want from both
- Written by women.
- Published within the last five years, ideally, I just want something newer.
- Adult fiction, not YA or NA.
Let me know if you have heard of anything similar. I'm very curious what recommendations people might have!

For Book 1, The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri. It’s not steampunk but has a rich fantasy pantheon and divine magic woven throughout, written by a woman and published in 2021.
For Book 2, The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen (2022) has that treasure hunt competitive energy in a fantasy world setting and is adult fiction.
Both fit the recent and women authors criteria. Hope one of them clicks!
