Queer books set in Scotland

I'm looking for queer books (fiction or nonfiction, any genre but needs to have LGBTQIA+ themes or characters) set in Scotland but outside Glasgow and Edinburgh. Specifically, I'd like to find something set in:
– Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire
– anywhere in the Highlands
– any island community

Didn't realise how much queer lit is focused on Edinburgh and Glasgow until I started looking! Any help appreciated 😄
