Second year med school has been rough. I keep falling into this spiral of comparing my life to everyone else’s their grades, their social life, their seemingly put-together existence and it’s been eating at me for a while now.

I want to start reading again as a way to decompress and also actually work through this mentally. Not looking for toxic positivity or “just be grateful” type books. Something that genuinely addresses the psychology behind comparison and helps you reframe it.

Has anything actually helped you? Fiction or non-fiction welcome.
