Sadly I'm currently on a reading slump, I'm reading two books ( the 2nd of game of thrones series and a non fiction book about Arctic exploration) and I don't feel like reading either. I'm looking for recommendations of captivating books that can get me reading again. My tastes: i love literary fiction and books that closely examine human relationships ( of any kind) in a raw, genuine and realistic manner. Some examples are the my brilliant friend ( neapolitan) series and a little life. I might like thrillers or mystery books if they're realistic, intelligent and well constructed, emphasis on that, cause most thriller books end up going over the top. Some thriller / mystery books I loved are the truth about the harry quebert affair and "and then there were none". Also recently I've been enjoying non fiction books, mostly memoirs ( examples: "im glad my mom died" and "things in nature merely grow"). I also enjoy historical fiction novels ( my all time favorite books are fall of giants and winter of the world by ken follet). Any recommendations for me?
