I was curious, what are some books you have loved for "no reason"? In my early teens, I had a brief obsession with Karen Hesse's "Out of the Dust". I found myself randomly thinking about that book tonight, for the first time in years, which is what made me wonder about other people's "no reason" favorites.
Obviously, I am sure I had a reason for loving the book as much as I did, but at this moment, I absolutely cannot think of why.

I still randomly think about *The Giver* by Lois Lowry even though I read it like 15 years ago 😂 There’s something about those quiet, haunting books from middle school that just stick with you in the weirdest way. Maybe it’s because we read them at such a formative age when everything felt more intense 💀
Literally any novel by Frida McFadden,i love all her books, and she’s always my #1
I’m not sure I hand any I love for no reason at all but I have one that, if asked, I could never possibly verbalize my reason for loving in a way that would do justice to the feeling… 100 Years of Solitude.
