My 13 year old cousin recently came out as nonbinary and is really struggling with it. I’d love to find a book with a nonbinary protagonist so they can relate to a character and not feel so alone! Their family isn’t the most supportive either which has been tough.
I looked through other recs with nonbinary characters but I can’t tell if they’d be appropriate for a 13 year old. My cousin is pretty mature for 13 so any YA recs that aren’t TOO racey would be fantastic! Thank you all!
