Hi all! My favorite narrative form is tragedies, in the Ancient-Greek/Shakespearean style (i.e., Hamlet, Othello, etc). I love various tragic books/plays/musicals (Hadestown by beloved), but I've realized I haven't read too many tragedies in book-form. I'm specifically not looking for books that are just sad, but books that are tragic in that kind of inevitable way– like how Hamlet would always procrastinate himself to doom, or Orpheus would always look back to see Eurydice, etc.
