I am on a challenge to reduce my social media time (and phone time in general). I need a replacement activity, which is ,of course, reading.
Now, I need books that I can open and close really fast, so short chapters that will not take too much of my time.
Regarding genre, basically anything will do (besides poetry). I flaired the post as non-fiction since I don't want page turners that will captivate me for hours, but something I can read for only 5 minutes if I want to and then close it.
About me, I am a psychologist and a data analyst who is currently interested in everything business-related since I am changing my role and need to learn more about that. I love learning new stuff, so all books about history, philosophy, psychology, etc. will do
Thanks and wish me luck on this challenge!

Good for you on cutting back on the doom scrolling! For business stuff I’d definitely recommend “The Lean Startup” – super short chapters you can knock out in like 5-10 minutes each and it’s pretty foundational knowledge. Also “Atomic Habits” is perfect for this since each section is basically bite-sized and you can jump around without losing the thread
