Just finished the Sea Child by Linda Wilgus and it was a fantastic read. It had everything I wanted- sweeping adventure, genuine chemistry between characters, and folklore!! It was truly wonderful.
I really love reading romance novels, but I feel like the market is so saturated with trope-heavy, poorly written colleen hoover-esque stories*. Can someone recommend some novels with high adventure and romance that does not sacrifice great prose?
* Not a dig at anyone who enjoys Miss Hoover, it’s just not for me.
