With all the bullshit that’s been happening (plus the lack of US education on WW2), I’ve been itching to read up on how society looked during the Nazi’s rise. I want to truely see how many parallels there are and what the internal resistance looked like. I have heard enough about this battle and this skirmish and all the very surface mundane shit about those in power at the time. I wanna know what went on for the everyday person, if that makes sense?
Idk i guess I just have so many questions. I’m open to any resource! Book/video/website whatever!
Also anything about the Jim Crow era south or US slavery would be helpful too, I just know that Americans in general don’t give as much of a shit about that as they do Nazi Germany…
