i’ve lately really fallen in love with the Grishaverse and Holly Black’s Cruel Prince series, but both are just slightly too YA for me (I’m in my 20s). I’m looking for similar epic fantasy worlds with female protagonists (and ideally by female authors), but skewed to a slightly older audience. bonus points if there’s romance, but i’m looking for something a bit more epic, literary, and intricate than classic “romantasy” like acotar (although i had fun reading)
