Please help! I honestly feel like I've read all the books that sound interesting to me. I feel like I have a very specific taste, but there has to be someone else out there that Gets The Vibe.
What I really love:
- horror/scifi with comedy. What the Hell Did I Just Read was great (i'm considering reading more Jason Pargin). Hank Green also fits this vibe.
- Paranormal mystery
- Stories set in the 80s and 90s
- adult fiction – young adult is fine but I get tired of reading about super young kids or teenagers. I wish there were more fun fiction with adult characters!
- Female authors and characters, though this is harder to find.
- Basically stories that are fun/spooky and kind of ridiculous, but also grounded with an interesting mystery.

A lot of my list is newer/popular releases, and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, I think I'm stuck in a loop of looking at popular book recs. And they're mostly genres that are super popular on booktok and stuff, which doesn't really lend to my interests.
I've tried searching for super specific genres like "cozy sci fi", "scifi-fantasy", "comedy horror" and others. It's been pretty fruitless.
