Recently, I came across the book Murderland: crime and bloodlust in the time of serial killers, by Caroline Fraser. I will be reading it soon but it seems to look at the oddly high number of serial killers in the PNW and seems to link it to toxic natural environmental factors. I was wondering if you all could suggest some books that look at the high number of serial killers in the 70s, 80s, 90s with a focus on societal, historical, and cultural factors?
