I just finished season four of Bridgerton and every time I finish another season of this show I need a book with intense yearning. I want to read something with desire, desperation, something with borderline pathetic obsession. I want to read about people who cannot breathe because they want each other so much. I want Bridgerton level of yearning. Other than just the Bridgerton books of course. It doesn't have to be a period thing, but I want your best recommendations for books filled with intense yearning and desperate longing.
