I just got back from a weekend hiking in the Texas hill country and now I want a book that captures that same feeling. You know, slow paced but in a good way, lots of descriptive nature, maybe some self discovery along the trail. I loved Wild by Cheryl Strayed and also really enjoyed The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert for all the botanical detail. Anything with mountains, forests, or just characters really connecting with the natural world. Fiction or memoir both work. What should I add to my list?
