I’d really like books or resources on the makeup of oppression as it pertains to marginalized groups like women, Black people, the poor, queer communities, etcetera, and which traits are required for that oppression to to take root and function in a given society. I’m dually interested in resources that break down how said oppression has been historically combatted. Again, not at a surface level, but the intricacies that go into overthrowing an oppressive force. Are there any books or essays I could get my hands on for this? Thanks!
