I just read this on a whim and absolutely blew through it! I loved it. While I’m waiting for Scott Hawkins’ new book, does anyone know of any similar titles? I’m trying to get into fantasy but it doesn’t have to be that.
Things in the book that I enjoyed:

A female, morally-complicated protagonist (I’m a big fan of stories like In a Lonely Place or The Postman Always Rings Twice, where the main character(s) are a shitty person)

The writing style (I read Blood Over Bright Haven before this and though I enjoyed it, the prose was so simple that it made me enjoy it much less than I would have otherwise)

Horror stuff (I also enjoyed Between Two Fires)
