I'm looking for an interesting book on how administration works. Ideally if the book teaches terminology of administrative positions and offers insightful explanations of how they really work with an understanding or backing in history as well. For example if it could help me in my understanding of everything from ancient Rome to modern political structures that would be very good. Preferably if it can teach how to think about administration rather than say a dictionary of terms. I'm not looking for simple definitions.
