I am a strictly a biography guy and have maybe read 5 fiction books in my entire life. But these days I am trying to branch out and read more. Would love some recommendations of some fiction books/authors. Not too interested in sci-fi or romance. Thanks in advance

William Boyd does a lot of these, his most recent one; The Romantic is excellent.
