Just completed beartown. Enjoyed it a lot. I'm looking for my next read. Historically have devoured books like:
- a little life
- gideon the ninth
- disobedience
- conclave
- kite runner
I prefer books where romance is not central to the storytelling. I particularly gravitate towards books with themes of found families, familial love, religion or overcoming tragedies.
