It can be because of the story itself or because of the performance of the readers, or both. I'm open to a lot of styles, though maybe not body horror because of what I'll have just gone through 😅

Cozy stuff, surreal stuff, adventure stuff, murder mystery stuff, sci-fi, fantasy, bios, info about fascinating things !it would feel like an audio documentary I guess in this case)

The Rivers of London series is fantastic – modern urban fantasy police procedural/mystery novels. They are well written and compelling and a lot of fun. The audiobooks are amazing!

    2. Daisy Jones & the Six is written interview-style, all the band members describing the rise and fall of their band from their perspective. It’s like listening to a documentary. The voice actors were amazing, it’s a great listen!

Listening to King Sorrow by Joe Hill at the moment very good thriller/horror! The Martian and/or Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir both awesome sci fi The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan.. it’s old but I can listen to that over and over again on audiobook for some reason so comforting. Green lights by Matthew McConaughey
