So I'm 19F from Ireland. Was initially drawn because of the author who described the series as "Avatar meets RWBY meets Pacific Rim" which is genuinely like immediately very much my thing. But the book was just only okay? And very much heavy on the romance subplot to the detriment of actually good writing. Or I'm just weird. But I don't really get the whole "this man is so attractive I must get distracted at every opportunity I can thinking about how attractive he is." And I like romance novels. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors.
