I have pretty severe ADHD and I haven’t been able to read in one sitting for a long time. I get distracted by notifications or just easily lose interest halfway through.
I used to read a lot in middle school, but now (F24) I’ve noticed I’ve become more impatient, I leave things unfinished, and I feel kind of disconnected from the world sometimes.
Any recommendations that are gripping enough to hold attention? I’m mostly into mystery / detective / thriller books, but I’d also love something that gives a new perspective on life, maybe a “lost cause” type of novel or something introspective that could kind of snap me out of this phase.
