Hi all!
I am looking for a new detective series to jump into. Preferably this would be a series that is still ongoing, as most of the authors that I enjoy are either no longer writing or have ended their series.
I enjoy all genres of detective fiction, with a particular joy in whodunnit/Christie style developments.
Most recently I have really enjoyed Horowitz's Susan Ryeland books for that genre of mystery fiction. One of my favourite mystery series were Steven James Bowers files, as it was fun to read the mysteries less from the detective's standpoint, but from a specialized geo-environmental investigator. I have also dabbled in Ian Rankin and the Bosch books.
Darker stories don't bug me, but often I prefer a little bit of romance and lighter moments sprinkled throughout.
Looking forward to your suggestions!
