Ideally with a female protagonist (but either is fine!) I want to read genuinely good writing about coming of age. I'm not a fan of fantasy novels, and my favourite book of all time is crossroads by Jonathan Franzen! Other media I love is Life is Strange, Tomorrow Tomorrow and Tomorrow, Snack Shack, Mid90s, The Holdovers, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind.
